For generations, women in Pakistan have been tied to a never-ending cycle: book the appointment, wait weeks for the date, then wait again in a crowded salon waiting area once it arrives. On top of that, a lifetime subscription fee to waxing professionals that never really ends.

Worse than the waiting were the conversations forced on women during it.

"You have such high growth." — a comment women have heard from salon bajis far too often, alongside other unsolicited judgments about meeting unrealistic beauty standards.

When women looked for an escape from that cycle, the only at-home alternatives in Pakistan were imported international IPL devices priced at an unjustified premium, often up to Rs. 250,000. For most households, that price tag wasn't an alternative. It was just a different kind of out of reach.

The Market Gap We Found

That frustration is exactly where GlowPro started. We set out to give women in Pakistan a real alternative: at-home IPL hair reduction with the same core technology and features as the imported giants, built and priced for the local market instead of marked up for it.

Built With Pakistani Skin and Hair in Mind

Many international IPL devices are engineered around a narrower range of skin tones than what we see across Pakistan day to day — fair, tan, and brown, each with its own hair texture, density, and growth pattern. A single generic setting doesn't serve all of that well.

GlowPro devices are built and calibrated for Fitzpatrick skin types I–IV (fair to medium-deep tones), which covers the great majority of the Pakistani market. We're upfront that our current devices are not intended for the deepest skin tones (Fitzpatrick V–VI), and we'd rather say that clearly than overclaim.

Every unit goes through internal safety and performance testing before it reaches a customer, and our team stays available for one-on-one consultancy if you're unsure whether a device is the right fit for your skin and hair type.

Who We Are

GlowPro is operated out of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Pakistan, by a small team of Pakistani founders. We didn't start by importing a product and slapping a label on it — we started by reading through forums, reviews, and hours of conversations to understand exactly what Pakistani women were frustrated with, and what they actually needed instead.

That's still how we build: close to the people actually using the devices, not at a distance from them.
